Your son was an unremarkable child. A mediocre athlete and not very academically bright, spending high school getting Ds in everything.

But there was always something off about him. His pets seemed to live forever and your knees/aches and pains seemed to get better as you got older instead of worse.

Eventually you realize he has special healing powers and he begins to go around the world healing the most wealthy elite in exchange for enormous amounts of money.

A doctor in Washington observes him curing terminal cancer in a Saudi prince by the mereist flick of the wrist and touch.

"Wow ! You're incredible!" the stunned doctor says. "We need to get you to the ICU and the childrens ward. You could save all those lives inside an hour!"

"Yeah that's right, I could.... for a million bucks per kid." your son replies while leaning back in a chair

"What!? None of these families have that kind of money!" the doctor exclaims

"Well that's not my problem is it? Supply and demand, and I have ALL the supply." your son says smugly while sipping a glass of vodka and Pepsi.

I'd try to talk him into saving some of the kids as a good PR move & to hopefully boost his visibility so that more rich people will come to him with their money.

uhhh... a Million dollars is MASSIVELY cheap compared to most drugs, and stuff covered by your insurance, or healthcare (depending on where you live) -- sometimes just to continue surviving.

Given that youd need to be in perpetual hiding if that power is public, pretty much the only way you could live if you reveal your power. Otherwise, youd be accosted by people 24/7 best case scenario, kidnapped or killed is worst. Sad.

Anyone he touches, or touches him could instantly be killed, and nothing would be able to kill him (as he can just heal himself) -- he'd be able to defend himself pretty well.

Encourage him to work with hospitals or whoever to get paid fairly rather than extorting sick people for money. I'm sure any hospitals would love to have him.

Tell him that charging the rich/elite who cab pay is correct but to help those who cant pay for free and simply have them pay via free meals cooked or helping through good publicity.

I've thought about this if it were me.

I'd just have a 'donations accepted' system. You'd probably only need like 1 rich person a year to donate to be able to live.

I can't make him do anything. Especially of there's a possibility he has more than just healing powers he's hiding.
