Movies about serial killers are from the perspective of the cops, detectives or someone going after them though. Because people don't actually want to respect or relate to the killers.

I'm not sure how any of this relates to Trump. An Obama movie would probably do better than a Trump movie. Biopics that people like are usually about inspirational people.

There are two kinds of Trump Republicans

The ones who despise him but love the money his supporters bring in, and have sold out accordingly (GOP leadership, essentially)
The ones who actually are believers (Everyone else)

As for Trump being smart - no. He's not smart. He's just astonishingly brazen with blackmail and corruption, and at a certain point everyone with the authority to do something about it is either scared of what will happen if they step up (see Raffensperger) or willing to put up with it for the money and influence.
