Believe they evolved from the WB back in the day, and even back then they had shows like hurculeas/xena etc that were kinda aimed at teens etc (though as an adult I enjoyed them). They had smallville as well, and then eventually the arrowverse. Toss in things like vampire diaries and the spin offs and especially Supernatural (great show) and you had quite a few hits on the channel over the year. Most think it has gone downhill recently though with the arrowverse especially getting ughish. Supernatural didn't have a great last few seasons (in many peoples opinions) and nothing was really drawing in people lately (buncha of Meh new shows in the past years that just didn't really work). Was a very good channel for a looooong time though, so it's sad to see what happened with it. Heck the CW incorporated a bunch of stuff from the WB which had buffy/angel etc as well, so many of the great sci fi/fantasy shows of the last 20 years were on the WB or CW basically. --- Tacobot 3000 "Saving the world from not having tacos."
