Are you talking about Round 27, when Xethuminra "mistakenly" saved Pupu 4 minutes early? It seemed like an innocent mistake and such a thing has happened before, but if someone were to intentionally make that "mistake" to bait someone else into not saving that character (thinking they're already safe) and that leads to them getting eliminated, that could be seen as a potential underhanded tactic.

I do not think it was the first time it happened. I believe in one of the recent rounds I voted first and Xethuminra voted several minutes after me, but in the second turn they voted before I did by several minutes. I went back and checked the topics still up but do not see it.

Wish I could remember more but things have been stressful with one of my cats sick. He came home yesterday after three days at the vet so I was preoccupied yesterday but have been trying to keep an eye on their votes. Maybe I am remember it little wrong, but I apologize and regret not say something earlier.

Seemed like an interesting round. When I saw how close it was at the end, I went back and double checked because I wasn't 100% sure that it had been an hour, and it turns out I was a little early on my vote. I did create new results on purpose on a technicality after seeing the error, but changing that round so much or in such a way was not my original intention. The character (Pupu) was given a second chance that was decided by another poster, and TC agreed that my vote was to be discounted. It was meant to be in good fun. If there was off-site betting (or anything) happening with that game, and I caused etc, I have nothing to say about that. And I agree with TC's decision to close the game, knowing full well that the betting was happening, but also being directly approached with whatever by whoever on account of it. I wouldn't wanna continue either, and was considering withdrawing any further involvement myself even if TC decided to keep it open. Anyway...

I certainly wasn't out to sabotage anyone's bet, and the thing did seem quite suspicious in hindsight just with the way a few people were acting about certain things, I had been considering ending my participation independently of the news TC gave us, and hearing TC's experience is something I will have to reflect on.

Happy FAQing, folks

Quite a day I'm having, btw, at that

I didn't mean to insinuate or accuse anyone of any wrongdoing, I was simply pointing out something that could be seen as a mistake but also could possibly be used/abused in a underhanded way. If it seems like I was making an accusation, then I do apologize.

We've had similar end of round flubs several times before, so I didn't see anything odd about this one.

All good! It absolutely could be used in that way, and I would be lying if I said I didn't know exactly what I was doing (as far as the results of the game) when pointing out the error, in addition to realizing that I was potentially voting slightly so early before doing so. What I didn't see coming was the same time posting at the end, and anyone betting money on these games is kinda out of sight out of mind to me altogether. So I hope nobody thinks I intentionally sabotaged their personal shit on putpose. I hadn't even considered that that might be happening during this game in particular, tho I had considered it in prevuous games.

Yep. I saw that and thought If someone really wanted to get someone eliminated, then just save them late in a round when your full hour isnt up yet, and people will think they are safe and not vote for them.

Again, I think what happened the other day was completely an innocent mistake. But something like that coulda become an exploitable tactic.
