Ive done everything in the event except the last 5 "win" missions (50 gems total) and the title.

But titles are worthless and I dont see 50 gems worth the effort. Pokemon has been hogging my hyperfixation recently.

I tried the Dinomorphia loaner but had no idea what I was doing.

Odd-Eyes and Pendmages carried me. Not the best in this event but strong enough to fuck people up if I open well.

I didn't even bother. All the decks I made have no trap cards whatsoever, so I don't have any experience with them. I also don't have an eltrich deck so...

I literally just ran Ancient Warriors and put a buncha nonsense traps in it lol. Mainly burn (Gravedigger's Trap Hole, Magic Cylinder) to push for damage and punish those dinomorphia decks, but also stuff like Evenly Matched, Ice Dragon's Prison, etc

That's not "new", people have been buster-locking since launch day and well before that in real life. There's a reason why Union Carrier is banned in both the TCG and OCG in real life and should be banned in Master Duel.

Yes, Dragon Buster Destruction Sword should be used by us Buster Blader simp alone.

(....and Dragunity through Leyvatein).

I feel like it's definitely seen a resurgence. The wombo combo 6 negate + buster lock endboard seemed to peter out in popularity after Halq died.

If you don't claim the event mission rewards before the event ends, do you lose them? Or do they stay there for a few days after the event to be able to claim them? I ask because it would be way easier for me to "claim all" the event missions along with my dailies on the last day of the month (tomorrow) instead of claiming them one by one today. The thought never occurred to me until now because this is the first time I can recall an event ending so close to the end of the month.

I got tempted by Gusto cuz the deck is so easy to make. Only took 1k gems on the actual Gusto packs, crafted the rest with staples and such.

Man, might be a problem with my build, but it's not supposed to be this bricky. Don't like to battle actual decks with this cuz it can't handle too many hand traps. Field stuff it can handle but not hand traps

Someone stole my Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon but they forgot that in order to use its effect, you need to have Blue-Eyes White Dragon on field/GY.

Jet Dragon bashed its head against my Borrelend and promptly killed itself.

They changed the daily missions again. There's now daily missions for "Ritual/Synchro/Xyz summon a monster (x/3)" and "Fusion/Pendulum/Link summon a monster (x/3)" that can pop up. Assuming the total amount in rotation is still 9 like it was before, those replaced the "deal damage" and "attack monsters" missions that were really annoying to do before.

Sun Mou, arguably the most important dude in the deck

Also, I really like Branded Despia. It's midrange and interactive, instead of just negating/floodgating the opponent. It's nice and grindy and it's dope finding the different paths to different endboards. And tax dragon, especially if you can get two out, is funny sometimes lol. Might get some predaplant stuff just to try a different version of the deck.

Appreciate that these missions actually encourage playing different decks instead of mindlessly grinding...

Not that both of these cant just be mindlessly grinded, lol. Will definitely just do Zoodiac/Striker spam-pass when Im lazy

With Branded being so good and there would be bound an Albaz with Alba-Lenatus on, I actually dread the prospect of everyone tech-in that card in addition to their usual Branded stuff, because all my deck are dragons lol.

The only staples are 3 Lu Fengs and 3 Double Dragon Lords. The infinite imperms, lightning storm, etc can be subbed with forbidden chalice, raigeki, random budget going 2nd cards, etc

Also I didn't include it in that list, but if you have em, Forbidden Droplets work really nice in the deck with all the continuous spells you run

For sure. If you have the currency, you can try pulling from their secret pack (The Old Legends IIRC) and hope for the best lol. I always seem to get bogged down by fairy tails and golden castle tho lol

I kind of want those leaked Tri-Brigade sleeves. Also curious if this Zombie structure deck is going to have the other DIFO zombie support like Mad Mauler.

...really don't know what I want to build beyond that though. I've been feeling kind of...unenthused with the game the last week or two. Duelist Cup is going to be torture, we're a few months away from tear 0, ladder meta is feeling kinda stale.

Idk I wish this game had more to do lol. Solo gates are braindead and the only alternate formats we get are monthly events that never come back. >_>

Yeah. I hated setting up my board just for the opponent to surrender and can't do the attack/damage missions. It was okay with Ancient Warriors because nobody knew wtf they do and the combos were short so I imagined they didn't think it'd be lethal damage lol

It is perhaps shocking how bad Daigusto Laplampilica is for a Gusto deck. They have so many bad cards that the last thing they needed was a synchro that does not hard enable the one good strategy on it, which is Sphreez OTK. Why the fuck doesn't she protect herself from targeting? It's not even a good protection. Why does she need a freaking Gusto in hand, and why does she force the synchro summon? It's actually not that old of a card. But they had the audacity to print what was a long waited super form of Pilica (except her Zefra form), with a bunch of weird restrictions that actually straight up makes her really bad to play.

That being said, guess who just rammed a Sphreez into a 10800 attack monster? This guy
