Saw Zestiria, expected Rising Up, wasn't disappointed.I've been listening to Rising Up frequently since playing that sequence the other day (check my Tales playthrough topic for all thoughts) - I looked it up and everyone loves that song even if they don't like the game. That inspired me to create this topic, since few people care about my Zestiria playthrough. Go Shiina is the best part of Zestiria tbh. The temple themes certainly best Sakuraba's typical fodder, and the hypnotic Katz theme remixed for Berseria (which I played before Zesty) is also his. Some series benefit from a composer change every once in a while, and Tales is one of those. Rising Up and Meaning of Birth aren't Sakuraba's, yet are considered among the best Tales songs. Motoo Fujiwara and Go Shiina each added fresh air to Tales, but one got a great game and the other... not so much.
