People would offer him help and he'd never, ever return to them or indicate in any way he took any advice he was given. Just jumped ship from a conversation he started. And it's odd how for as obsessed as he is with Pokemon--to the point of not being able to handle any criticism towards the series--he's never actually completed a Pokemon game.
