Ive never played a Persona game. Only got into it because Ive heard Persona 5 Royal is the best modern JRPG, my friend recommended it, and it was free on Xbox Game Pass. I really like Final Fantasy, so I thought Id like this JRPG, but its really, really slow so far. So if you're looking for gameplay get SMT game. Another user suggested checking out Yakuza: Like a Dragon and I do second that. It's a very fun, fresh JRPG especially if you haven't played other Yakuza games before and are new to the formula.
