imagine if the next Persona ditched the school kids and was about adults in an office. Every party member works there as coworkers. The party members would range from 20 to 35 in age.

Cant be any more boring so why not?

It should be set in some chicks bowels and they all shrunk and have to fight clumps of shit

The vibe of working in an office is just different than school. Everyone finishes at the same time. You're all off on the same days. You're all going through the same things together. There's the pressure that what you do here will set the road of the rest of your life etc.

Persona seems pretty tied to coming of age stories now and office work doesn't really fill that.

I think something like living in a hostel or tourist town a year abroad or something would be the most similar type of vibe. But an office? Hell naw. That's a boring setting.

I'd love if they went with adult characters next game. I know they originally thought about doing young adults on a backpacking journey for Persona 5.

If not office workers, maybe college students.

P5 they were basically superheroes. I genuinely wonder where they can go from there without repeating themselves.

I'd take anything other than another high school setting. Japan is a bit too obsessed with that shit.

it'd be cool if it was a mix of Persona and Catherine, where the cast of characters is a bit older, and the dungeon stuff took place at night/after work.

some of the events can be company retreats/office parties, and some of the enemies you might face can be the psyches of your co-workers or bosses.

I really don't care as long as the game is good.

The school setting was a back drop in 5 after the 1st chapter. Compare it to 4 were the school felt very central to the game.

The Japanese apparently are obsessed with youth. I heard that the MCU is not popular in Japan. Or not as big as it is in other countries. Because most of the super heroes are adults and Japan likes teenage super heroes
