My ps2 is picky. Neither Mercenaries or Bully works lol. Im definitely playing Radiata Stories tonight. But I might try some SH2 first. That's the runner up not counting Bully. I need a new ps2. Being able to sneak out to get into late night shenanigans. Maybe make it advance school years too and have it you start off too young to drive but eventually you can and get access to a car. Maybe make your grades or somethinf have an effect on what car your parents get you --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" Bartz-"with cheese biscuts AND mashed potatoes!" ... Bully is an all-time great, but only lasts like 6-8 hours to do everything and get bored of it. Mercenaries is such a fun game, but by no means a great game. The game itself brought so much hope for what the future of open world games could be. Ended up switching between SH2 and Radiata. At one point my ps2 started to refuse to play Radiata too lol. But eventually it read it again. This ps2 has had inconsistent casual use over 13 years when I got it used. I need to pay more attention to my caffeine intake and how that effects this. I think Radiata was holding my attention more consistently. I feel like Imma have more impulse to go back to that. It's gonna be 65 here all week tho. So, Imma try to enjoy that, then probably get back to it. I feel like Radiata has a form of storytelling that sticks with me. So, Ill have no problem jumping back in. I think Im near the end of the Hospital on SH2. That I kept feeling super into it and then my attention would fade immediately upon not knowing exactly where to go next lol.
