I used to think defunding the police was kind of and ignorant idea. But then you see this, and you think, well, shit, why the hell not...what good are they for...

Oh, and she will have to live with this unimaginable traumatic experience for the rest of her life. I hope she stays strong. I mean, can you imagine being a 10 year old girl, this animal in the shape of a human comes into your once lovely class room, shoots the mother fucker up, kids and teachers dead, kids STILL alive, the animal is STILL there listening to music in an adjoining classroom, and you, a 10 year old little girl, call 911 for the cops to show up, expecting them to bust through the door, OFFERING to unlock the mother fucking door yourself, and all the while, these fucking apes are standing outside motionless.

Edit FOR FOURTY (40) MINUTES SHE WAS ON THE PONE WITH 911!!!!!!

The new superintendent says they fired every last cop in that school's district...too little too late, always reactive, never proactive. I agree there should be some kind of charge for this.

As the Border Patrol strike team was almost ready to breach, DPS Capt. Joel Betancourt went on the radio and ordered the agents to wait.

The captain did not respond to requests for comment left for him through DPS.
The team ignored the order and entered the classroom, quickly killing the shooter. The previously silent hallway filled with officers waiting to act.
Someone yelled, Make a hole! as police carried out wounded children. Law enforcement officers motioned for those who were not as severely injured to walk out on their own.

As the onsite paramedics focused on the most critically injured, officers began taking other hurt children to the hospital. Khloie was among them.
I was on the phone with a police officer, she told the trooper examining her as the screams of other wounded children reverberated in the background.
The officer, whose body camera had earlier picked up a dispatcher describing that call, seemed surprised.
Oh, that was you? the trooper asked.
