And I dont mind adopting. But I feel like itd be hard for me. Dogs dont live long enough and I honestly cant handle that tbh. I cried when my pumpkin started to rot in high school. I thought it was fake and named it and drew a face on it and everything. Then it started dying and I had to bury it. The screening process is not the same now as it was almost 40 years ago, or in my brother's case, just over 30 years ago... but whatever it is, it is.
