You seem very sheltered tc. If a pack of smokes or a bottle of booze is the only pleasure or relief they can find of course they'll spend money on those things. If they're an addict of course they'll spend money to get a fix.

The idea that because they spend it on booze or cigarettes they likely have a home is literally absurd.

i dont believe every beggar who spend it on booze or cigarettes is doing so to take advantage of people, but people are more kind than you think and will give away money like its halloween candy.
