You've helped me through my gender problems for years, and I understand why you think I betrayed you. And I'm sorry. I've spent 30 years lying to myself about who I want to be, I believe deep inside that this is who I am. Accepting myself as female is a big transition for me after decades of living like a man. It's a transition in its own way. I don't want to lose you as a friend.

Sayoria owes one to you, regardless of whether she agrees she does or not.

You can't just celebrate and support someone "finding out who they really are" when only one outcome is acceptable. Then it comes across as less "being supportive" and more "pushing an agenda".

I can empathize with her feeling the way she felt, but I saw her posts, and they were totally out of line. They even pissed you off initially (as they should have).

If Sayoria was feeling a certain kind of way about your self discovery, she should have pm'd you instead of doing what she did.

If she was really your friend, she would recognize that what she did was out of line and apologize.

You just said that she helped you for years as you struggled with your gender identity, and then the first thing that happens after you have a major epiphany is she trashes it and implies you're not sincere? That's fucked up and apology worthy, period.

I'm glad you still admire her. You're clearly handling it a lot better than she appeared to.
