I usually just wait for it to start counting down and then add a extra 30 seconds. It also helps to elevate it with a paper plate. If I do it right I usually have around 10 unpopped kernels.

My button runs like 2 minutes longer than it should. I usually stop it kind of early though, tastes better and don't get any blackened pieces.

I use it and it turns out fine. You just have to listen for the popping to slow and pull it. Probably don't need to use it, but *shrug*

The defrost button is actually very useful, tbh When defrosting certain frozen foods, it says to defrost for a certain time, which mean 30% power. So defrost automatically does that, thick is nice
