It also mentions some other unspecified bug fixes, but no mention of addressing the myriad of performance issues aside from saying that they are taking feedback.

There's probably a lot of minor stuff it'll fix.

Outside of the performance issues, the game itself seems to be fairly solid at its core. It isn't a totally broken mess like BDSP was

Joke's on them, I just duped over 300 Ability Patches and those sell for a fuckton of money. I'm set for life when it comes to resources.

Nintendo would never actually comment on if they're getting complaints, however, we know they must have gotten a shit load of complaints because they gave out digital refunds which they almost never do.

And apparently aren't rematchable. Imagine playing this gen once and you never got to hear the music right during your only encounter.

Who knows, maybe they've made it as moddable as Bethesda game as well as making it as buggy. The community will sort it out

Yep. The Gym Leader, E4, and Champion music are done in a way that they dynamically shift to become more intense as you battle through their teams. But with the E4 and Champion music, it was stuck with the starting loop which didn't capture the epicness of such battles due to how anticlimactic they were. And as mentioned, you can't refight the E4 in this game, so if you've already beaten them, then the only way to hear it again in it's proper place is to start a new game file.

One of my biggest things with this game is how hit or miss the music is

The trainer battle, first area wild pokemon, megazona, all absolute bangers
The gym battle and elite 4 music were just uneventfully boring.

It doesn't fix any performance issues. It literally just fixed the E4 music glitch and legendary clone glitch.

Fixes:
-The Elite Four/Champion music glitch
-The RNG seeding issue with the Battle Stadium online
-The duping glitch
-The glitch where Pokemon don't close their eyes when they sleep.

Nothing else was addressed, even if some people reported it as such (they think they saw improved performance because the game had to close in order to update).

Some people are upset, while others are saying that it's going to take a while for GF to fix the myriad of issues the game has.
