CE is full of a bunch of weird maladjusted man-babies. Defenders of stealing probably got busted for shoplifting when they were 15 and have been seething ever since that they didn't get their way and will now jump through any moral and legal hoop to justify the act.

Tbh I totally ate the food Walmart deli would throw away at the end of the night. If you worked in the back and realized how much gets thrown away because a box is open or crushed. This is completely different and understandable, though. Managers (I was one) used to half off damages or give things like that away to workers. TC is talking about customers who actually steal from the store.

Yet you miss the point so badly it proves my point even further. The shit is wrong no matter what. A billionaire or politician doing insider trading is wrong. Brazenly walking into a big box store and taking whatever you want is wrong. They are both wrong. Sexualizing underage shit is both wrong. Be consistent with your morality CE.

How can anybody with any actual values say with a straight face well its wrong when somebody steals this but it's right when somebody steals that? There's a reason people with these kind of viewpoints aren't in actual charge of anything and I thank God everyday for it.

An online friend of mine had an interesting sig on a message board a long time ago, and it applies for these people who are ok with stealing from big corporations:

I mean, society as a whole has gotten pretty okay with crime in the last few years. Between letting people back on the streets, not allowing prosecution, etc.

This is true and I'll agree with that. Lot of local resteraunts back in my day treated me way worse as a worker then any chain. Some of them even tried to pay me under the table even after I quit to do deliveries since they were so desperate for work.
