TaylorHeinicke 12/13/22 3:54:26 PM #8:	Solid show but it has a couple things that grate the shit out of me over time. The below are not actual plot spoilers, just writing-related things that you might not be able to un-hear once pointed out, so tread lightly. 1.) They say "the point is" constantly. It's an awful crutch with the way their dialogue and jokes are written. Just a weak transition overall from joke to actual plot-moving dialogue. It drives me insane. 2.) They rely way too heavily on the long, drawn-out scream interrupted by a cut (usually to the theme song or to commercial). So like right at the end of act 2, something will happen, and a character will go like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA(cut to black). Or during a cold open, something cool will happen followed by a character screaming WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO(cut to theme song). It happens all the freaking time. Funny once or twice but they go way too heavy on it throughout the whole show. I think there's one or two more that I'm not totally remembering.
