Aw man, I already have half the series 4 cards being downgraded. Shuri dropping down to series 4 is great news for the people who get her and horrible news for anyone who doesnt.

Just had a guy use Scarlet Witch on Altar of Death to convert it into Knowwhere when changing it to literally any other terrain in the game would have had me win and spam so dumb.

I think I just had my Morph turn into the enemys Morph card in their hand they played the following turn. PAIN

Cards that Morph morphs into still do their On Reveal, dont they? He shouldve morphed again

I dont know since Im new to this. I just know I played him and he transformed into himself. Maybe Morph was the only other card my opponent had in his hand that turn?

I havent seen a Morph played in a while so I cant remember. If that was their only card it wouldve remained as a Morph though, so that might be it.

Yeah it was bound to happen I guess since I already own 7/10 of the series 4 cards. The ones I'm missing are M'Baku, Maria Hill, and Attuma. They can keep M'Baku and Maria Hill, those cards are bad bad.

Also next month's battle pass has most likely leaked.

I'm usually not one for spamming but I get it in this instance tbh. Pulling a 1 in like 200 win out of sheer last second luck warrants celebration

the only thing I've ever spammed is "Aaarrgh!" if I'm on the receiving end of particularly terrible luck, especially if self-inflicted (like using Scarlet Witch to bring out a location that screws me over)

That doesn't seem like a very good card. I don't even think discard decks would want it since they'd lose Hela.

Ive been around 28/29 on the cube tier thing. Lost a couple matches in a row today, but at least some were close. I dunno what the best deck I can even make at the moment is. Lost a match where I used Enchantress and she undid the lizard dudes nerf when the lane is full oops

It's pretty good in a situation where you have Dracula on the board and Apoc in hand. With my deck I'd be guaranteed to draw Chavez on turn 6 so I could play Chavez somewhere and guaranteed Dracula hits Apoc.

Also doubles the amount of Swarms you have in your hand which could be good or bad. It's definitely not a card you use with Hela unless you have Invisible Woman. But it does go great with Invisible Woman and Hela.

Seems like Modok would have natural synergy with Strong Guy.

Thats a pretty good rank for still being in Series 1. They try to match you up with other people who are at about the same Collector Level but as you get higher ranked youre bound to get matched with people at higher CL

I mean I think it's okay to spam the thumbs up I just don't like the "Snap?" spam. That's like "you shouldn't have snapped dummy" when yes I totally should have snapped you just got bonkers lucky.

Ehh that feels a little too slow at 5/5

Although if you have Nimrod in Location 1 and you play Destroyer does he put a Nimrod in location 2 and 3 which would get Destroyed again? If so you could basically fill all of your empty spots with Nimrods in a Destroyer deck.

Kitty Pryde (1/2) - You can return this to your hand to gain +1 Power.

Angela is back on the menu boys. Although I'm curious if you can return this to your hand and replay it during the same turn. Probably not so you can only play this 2 more times to turn her into a 1/4. I'm not sure if that's really worth it. 1 energy for 1 power is a bad ratio.

Kitty Pryde is great, that's gonna be a guaranteed entry in at least a couple of my decks

She also makes Psylocke entirely irrelevant given she has an extra power, one less cost, and can be benefitted from multiple times

You randomly get cards from Series 3 in boxes until you have all of them
Then you start randomly getting cards from Series 4, and then eventually 5

but you also have very small chances of getting cards from later series

Jeff the Baby Land Shark sounds awesome, and I hope hope hope playable spaces includes your opponents side.

Nimrod could be a great Suri card. Cant be easily Shang Chid, you could destroy him yourself, or you could just leave him be while your opponent expects him to be duplicated.

Kitty Pryde is interesting for what it opens up for the rest of the game. For the you may functions, is that anytime? Only next turn?

This is not quite true. When you start unlocking series 3 cards you have a small chance to get a series 4 card (1/40 I believe) and a super small chance to get a series 5 card (1/400).

Oh man I just won a match partly because I could move Nightcrawler to a spot that otherwise destroyed cards and mostly because I played Enchantress and canceled the enemy Iron Man & Ant Man on them.

I also hit lv30 for the first time which gave me some credits, but Im trying to get orbs for my cards who havent upgraded yet like Elektra.

Yes in every cycle of 40 Collectors reserves you are guaranteed 9 Series 3 cards and 1 Series 4 card. One in each cycle of 4.

Series 5 is basically save up your Tokens

And with the rotation they also mentioned that they're probably never going to rotate Thanos or Galactus out of series 5 so those are probably safe to buy with tokens if you really want them one day.

I'm assuming Kang is going into the "forever series 5" pool as well when he gets released.

Kang is (5/0) - On Reveal: Look at what your opponent did, then restart the turn. (without Kang)

I think that's not a very healthy card for the game so we'll see if maybe they change it.

Nightcrawler is a good card to use while this particular new location is being featured through tomorrow

Im trying to use my newly acquired Moon Girl and Dinosaur in a deck and literally every turn Moon Girl is the last card I draw or I dont draw her at all. The first Weirdworld lane my opponent got to play both though :/

Playing Moon Girl last isnt the end of the world, it will max out the 1 Devil Dinosaur you just put out

True, but the time that happened by my last turn I needed to play something better for that one match at least.

Just won one where all the luck went my way. Mid lane was -1 cost to cards. My Scarlet Witch changed the left lane to cards here +5 and I played Armor there that same turn. I was able to play a full strength Strong Guy in that same lane as well.

Still dont really have any specific deck builds, but its fun playing around with stuff. Sadly cant do that with Squirrel Girl at the moment since I dont think I have all the cards she would need to be of any value.

if you've finished the tutorial battle pass and have kazar/blue marvel, the zoo deck (mostly 1 drops, angela, wolfbane, kazar and blue marvel) is very strong until you start playing against people with killmonger (it'll be a while) and squirrel girl naturally fits in there

I havent gotten Angela yet. Honestly not even sure Ive seen her

I can't believe the Leader nerf won me a match. Best one-point victory ever.

Oh wait I have seen her. Just didnt place the card to the name. I dont have her all the same. I just unlocked Bishop for my newest mystery card.

Had the Sanctum for no cards being played, a middle location, and then this new destroy location. They were running a destroy deck and I used Storm on the middle location, so that we could only play in the destroy location. The guy put four cards in the destroy location last turn trying to win and I toss Ultron in it to destroy him and throw drones in the other locations for the win.

This is certainly a hand to have with 10 energy on turn 6. Altar of death is silly.

Did you double Leader?

Ive never seen so many 5 cost cards in a match

They retreated before turn 6 because they knew I was going to have 10 mana. I probably would have played Magneto in middle and Dino on right.

Double leader would be bad because they're probably playing two three drops and Surfer which buffs their board more.

Also to people who play Widow, Shang-Chi, Doc-Oc, etc.

Its partially because the middle location is reducing 6-costs to 5

5 or 6 thats still the most of either Ive ever seen in a match let alone a hand.
