i tried to make an alt one time after this account got banned for a week but when i created it they auto made it so the alt couldnt post in any topics since they knew an account from my ip was recently banned lol

I did, but it was banned after this one was suspended once.

What are these "alts" you speak of?

I have a handful of accounts for when I get bored of this one, but I haven't felt like using them.

10 years ago it certainly made it harder for me to make a new account when one was banned lol

I have 6 active accounts

I have an army of accounts for use on this board. It is easy to make them and my SSD is my limiting factor to the number of accounts I have on reserve.

There's a big difference between making an account and posting in a poll though.

And quite a bit of difference from 2013 to 2023.

This account started as my alt, but I grew to like the username more than my original one. Now this is my main and my original account is the alt.

Mods pretty much go for the suspend button when I get a little out of pocket. Ive been trying to be a good girl lately but apparently making a joke about DV as a DV survivor is a Nono.

I wouldn't necessarily call them alts, but I have three other accounts that I made throughout the years because I didn't like the usernames of previous ones.

Oops. Im illiterate and voted wrong. I only have one account. Nothing wrong with being risky while playing around on the same account you're normal on. Just makes for someone with more depth lol. Though, I am blocked by a lot of people now and I wish I wasn't.

Plus, how else do you know if you're actually accepted for the real you if you hide your less likable traits behind an alias. I like knowing some people here still like me even though I say suspect stuff here and there lol. I don't want puddle deep relationships where Im hiding half my personality out of fear of not being accepted

Its the same personality, but two accounts that I can freely go to and from.

i did make an alt once.
i never used it, so i think it got purged from the system

a few months ago, i made another alt, as this one got suspended
apparently, if you make an alt while your main is suspended, the alt is automatically set to an unusable level

so, no, i don't have one at the moment

I used to have alts but over time I lost them for various reasons and I have not bothered to make more. I have only been warned 1 time in the past 4 years
