You're walking along one day when suddenly you crumple over and writhe around in pain on the floor.

After a trip to the hosital, a lot of painkillers and a myriad of tests, the doctors inform you that you have fucked up liver enzymes due to your terrible diet.

While you can take painkillers there's no drug treatment for the condition. The treatment is to cut all meat products including animal milk and fat and stick to a strct vegan diet for an extended period of time.

Switch to a vegan diet, and do heavy research on spices. I've long since said the best food I ever ate was vegan, made by an Indian grandmother who was visiting a neighbor of my aunt. I wouldn't miss meat if all food was like that.

It helps that I also really love hummus and chips, so I could eat that pretty much every day, just having vegetable smoothies for nutrition.

i'd do vegetables but not vegan shit, then i'd keep a burger with me at anytime

Guess I'd start by looking into authentic vegan Indian recipes

not at all. im not a fan of vegan cheese at all. some of it is acceptable, most of it is bad. it's the one thing i haven't found a suitable replacement for.

in my experience, "substitutes" are not the way to go. they just leave you disappointed, most of the time. learn to use new ingredients instead.

All of the major brand vegan cheeses these days melt perfectly fine

The trick is it has to directly touch a heat source. Combine it in with the food you're cooking or put it on the bottom of your skillet. If you put it on top of something it won't melt, it just gets hard and inedible

I'd do it if it meant saving my life but that's probably the only scenario I would do that.
Too healthy eating plenty of meat to even consider that to be a possibility though.

So, basically, its not good for things like pizza, or things covered in cheese? Which is why I guess people didnt like using vegan cheese for pizza since it would be sitting on top on the pizza

Just switched to vegan a couple weeks ago. So far so good.

yeah, it's a bit more expensive than dairy cheese. but part of that is because the dairy industry is heavily subsidized using tax dollars. if the market was actually free, milk, cheese and meat would be noticeably more expensive

Or vegan cheese is a grift and you fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Government subsidies have nothing to do with dairy being cheaper. Farmers literally have to destroy milk in order to prevent a glut so that prices stay in the profitable range.
