That's definitely the intention. If anything, the Holocaust was an outlier genocide. They're not usually that in-your-face, slaughtering people en masse like cattle. It's more typically applied through laws and cultural destruction. The perpetrators don't usually want world domination like Hitler. They just want to chase "undesirables" out of "their" country.

I don't believe in criminalizing healthcare for young trans individuals, for one. I think that's a discussion to be had, and a decision to be made, by an individual and their doctor(s) and their supportive loved ones.

I'm not trying to single you out but I am singling you out. The truth is you and I know each other well enough and I don't care enough to respond to random riff raff. I'd rather address people I know. I don't think you're transphobic. I don't think you have anything against trans people. I just think that in terms what is actually right here, you are a bit behind. I feel like you're in this moment on the wrong side of history, and I believe that you will realize that in time and will come around. You might be delayed due to people criticizing you which may lead to stubbornness (and I understand that), but in the end, I honestly believe you will understand. I would just ask that you be open minded about the idea and if you have to ignore the ones acting militant about it, oh well, that's understandable too. I just hope that you can see they mean well even if their approaches make you want to dig your heels in. That being said, I've been reading this topic backwards, so maybe I don't even know what I'm talking about...

Yes there is. JKR is a bigot. Sugarysyntax's whole post was about how JKR is likable and nice, while her detractors are negative and toxic. Reading comprehension, bro.

People unaffiliated with either side are generally swayed over to the side that is likeable and nice if the other side is acting loud and crazy regardless of the policies each side are advocating.
