Nah, he's giving 'midboss' vibes to me. He'll likely be, at most, the Vaas of HL. While some games introduce the main villain early, they don't have the player character successfully fend the villain off at the start.

If there's one thing that this has all taught me, it's the death-grip the Harry Potter franchise has on its fans.

In all honesty going into this, I thought the general public had cooled off on the WW (the ride-or-die fans notwithstanding). Last two movies did poorer and poorer, and then Rowling with her shit.

Boy was I proven wrong.

I feel sorry for harry potter fans, they just love the world and whats in it. Unfortunately theyre being victimized because the shit head author turned out to be scum.

I dont really care for harry potter but if this same shit happened to a franchise i was really in love with I dont know if I could separate the work from the creator.

Good thing most franchises I loved have screwed the pooch, star wars has been trash for years beyond a few works, the mcu is circling the drain, DC is DC. Bethesda has shit on fallout.

You could read it as a statement that beauty and life can be found in the toughest or deadliest environments. It could be used as a motivational message during or against an ongoing war, that even amidst all the killing there are still innocent lives that still go on.

It's two East Asian names slapped together with no rhyme or reason. Even if you look into the entomology of the names, you have to do loop after loop to get it to make sense in English.

So it's either Rowling has this incredibly detailed, complex backstory behind the character's name or she just smushed two entirely different cultures together to make a stock-Asian character.

Not buying the game is totally fine. Cutting someone out of your life because they bought it is not. Like sure, if the person bought like 10 copies out of spite, then cutting them off could be reasonable, but not someone just like buying a copy because they wanted to play the game.

But seriously, the game looks just like a boring open world game to me, just flying between places, doing a bunch of filler content. I doesn't look like it trying to shake up the genre and you know there is going to be like 5 sequels to it as WB squeezes every bit of juice out of the IP. But hearing people freak out about it to this magnitude is hilarious to me. More entertaining than the bloody game itself
