Mac salad is another very common side along with it. And what TC is calling sticky rice is just plain rice here. It's cooked with just water with no butter added afterwards...I honestly thought people were joking when they said people put butter on rice on the mainland. Sticky rice here would be Thai style sticky rice. Rice in Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants here tend to default to drier jasmine rice though. --- "If history is to change, let it change!
