Im potentially gonna get my foot in the door at a dream job of mine, and I could finally leave the bank I work at.

I interviewed for this position in December, and went through a few rounds of interviews with a panel interview being my last three weeks ago.

The talent acquisition guy Ive worked with said with my experience, the salary range I expected seemed low and that he suggested a higher range.

He sent me an email saying the company was still interested in my candidacy, and that the conclusion to the interviews are taking longer than expected. He said hed provide the next steps when he could.

Now, I want to put in my two weeks so damn bad.

Is this basically a hey, were gonna hire you, we just need to confirm some processes!

or

Hey, we are debating on you. But dont take other offers. We just want you to know to wait.

Im literally texting this from work instead of working. Im ready to leave.

Definitely don't leave your job until they tell you you're hired for sure. They wouldn't update you if they weren't thinking about hiring you though.
