Grail concert event coming to FGO the 17th. Hyped for the cute af idol costumes.

It's a bit hit-or-miss for me. Helena, Nitocris, Medb, and Euryale look good, but Ushi and Nero look bad (Nero especially, even setting aside the fact that she didn't need a third costume). The other's I'm neutral on, they're cute in a generic sort of way (though Shuten's looks like it wouldn't be easy to dance in).

So the real end of PAD's #yugiweak saga ends in a bizarre way. After a while (long after the collab ended and more difficult content arose where it warranted experimentation again), people decide to blissfully ignore his many shortcomings after his smattering of buffs. For reasons that are too complicated to list here, there were many experimentation with some combination of mechanics that make up his weaknesses. The conclusion was that he's way better than he seemed on paper, and the buffs kinda helped him get there. Otherwise he would've been mediocre

He jumped from 7/10 as a lead, which is generally the casually usable tier, to 9/10, aka top 20 lead in the game.

The Xmas event is far and away the best event.

That said, the past few events have been alright, though ultimately fluff.

For anyone interested, Last Cloudia is celebrating it's 4 Year Anniversary. Everyone gets a free unit of their choice up to all units released before this year, with some pretty good contenders.

They also added in a new mechanic where we can invite people into the game and both the inviter and invitee get rewarded with summon currency. So if you want to give it a shot I'll share my ID.

Both choices kinda suck tbh.

Either you're part of a state sponsored hit squad maintaining the status quo of abuse after one of them got caught (and will be replaced) or you just shrug and let the abuse of sentient beings continue. No choice to have him tried (not that a corrupt authoritarian state would have done anything other than cover it up)

The Nikke's are still human and sentient, despite being treated as disposable slave labour by the masses.

Yeah, he turns his life around if spare but will just have another rich or government person take over instead.

No real good outcome, but not sure there is meant to be with the horror they've painted The Arc to be.

Why? Most people playing are children and children aren't know for thinking in nuance.

*shrug* A part of me did want to kill the guy before hearing him out, and it's not like his own testimony did much to convince otherwise.

Maybe I'm soft, but I'm of the opinion that death penalties shouldn't be handed out lightly, and this guy wasn't unrepentantly evil enough to warrant it. I'm also skeptical of the people who voted kill actually care about the mass-produced NIKKEs either. Yeah, it's a step below human trafficking in this universe, but it's also "for a good cause", which we've shown to mean *something* tangible.

On a similar note, I do find it kinda amusing that Syuen probably does worse shit than this guy, but the non-horny Syuen Redditors would probably want her executed as well. I'm one of the horny ones though, so eh. Does kinda put in perspective her throwaway comment of wanting to hire Perilous Siege for Christmas, just to take out her Recall & Release division for extorting Anne's mom and sullying Missilis' name.

Oh, Syuen definitely deserves a terrible punishment and is very much part of the problem in that universe.

Not sure she's done a single 'good' thing that wasnt actually just about her and preserving her companies reputation. Not that she should ever face consequences in her mind, she has others for that!

But yeah, main reason I chose to spare was to not be part of the governments assassination squad clearing up it's own messes. Wouldn't be about justice, but punishing those who cant keep their shit hidden.

Found a few longer threads, still seeing people mostly picking kill and being unusually eager about it.

So Edge: Mech-Ascent actually gives out a free infinite reroll ticket that guarantees one SSR per pull. Unfortunately Im aiming for the character with the lowest drop rate in the game at .29%. Im currently at 220 pulls from when I started counting (fairly certain there are well over ~75 unaccounted for pulls). I only started counting because I was going to settle for one of the more common SSRs before I saw a Fiend faction pop up, which I thought was only available in the special summon place.

Any guesses as to how many pulls itll take me to get my waifu/settle for second waifu who has a drop rate of 3.33% and have seen multiple times :D

Oh, 100% against the death penalty in real life. The Arc in Nikke's universe is just a fascist state though, so I can see why many may feel they have to take matters into their own hands given ultimately no chance for anything we'd call justice to happen otherwise.

I stopped rerolling n general. I've realized that I will either drop a game in a few weeks or months and the rerolling was pointless or I'll stick with the game long term and eventually averages will balance out my collection anyway.

I need to reroll for a specific waifu just to get me through the first few weeks/months lol. But this isnt bad, since the reroll takes like 10 seconds each time.

Outerplane is available for download for SEA. You'll need to install the APK below if outside of the available regions. There is some weird graphic issue that appears to affect certain devices. Seems to be only affecting a small percentage of people, but unfortunately I'm one of them.

I started playing "unknown knights: pixel rpg" (which is a different game than unknown knights)

It's like a mashup between Guardian Tales and Princess Connect. The art and menus are all very guardian Tales ish while the gameplay is basically just more priconn.

Oof, another kick in the balls from Higan. It has the same CP penalty thing that Nikke had at launch. If your team was above the recommended strength then you get a damage boost and take less damage, but if its lower, then the opposite happens. Nikke changed that after community outcry though.

Tbf even Blue Archive has it, but the modifier is so small that the only thing it matters is for whale/hard content e.g. Raids, PvPs, and high-level stages/challenges.

I mean I gave up because they seriously gated rerolling which is bullshit. But also the stamina is horrendous. For example: you need 25 of a certain material to limit break a unit. The stage costs 25 stamina, and stamina restores at a rate of 1 every 6 minutes. Each time you clear the stage you get 2 of the material. Also, you need 2 or 3 types of materials for the limit break.

Thats 32.5 hours worth of stamina for just one of the materials to limit break a single unit.

Just found out waifu isnt obtainable through infinite reroll. It can only get units with a power of 27 or under, and all Celestial, Fiend, and Void mythic units are 28+, with my waifu being 30. Oof.

Honestly, I finally passed the threshold to be able to complete every single event in World Flipper and even understand to some extent to build my own teams now (some people do really fucking extensive maths to make teams for this game, so). It's one of those things where if you really ingratiate yourself within the cult, they reward you, but you stay out of the line for a bit, you're fucking done son. I hate how Cygames make their games, is all I'm saying.

As much as I adore this franchise, it's absolutely baffling to me how Revue Starlight ReLive managed to survive to its global 4th anniversary. The fact that Bushiroad just announced EoS for Cardfight Vanguard Zero (which has been around for 1 less year and I thought was doing better than this game) makes me think Revue's shutdown might be coming soon too. But I already feel like I've been playing this game on borrowed time anyways, and I'll keep playing it until the day the curtain falls on this stage for the final time.

CV Zero was a long time coming in terms of its death. It simplified the game to a much worse meta for a flimsy reason like "it's on mobile" without a team that's actually competent enough to pull it off. Duel Links was great because it actually was a simplification with a very curated set of card releases over time. All CV Zero did was just release the same fucking cards in order with very minor changes under a completely different ruleset, just flimsily hoping it works out, thus leading to really toxic one sided metas that weren't fun to play. Its nearly purposely toxic ladder system did not help and only benefited though who no-lifed on the game, as if their goal was to create a dependency for the game. All it did, however, was burn people out on the game

Some say it was "generous" but that was because every day people were botting very complicated sets of button presses to create bots that sometimes managed to take wins, if not inch their way to the next step of rewards. Basically you leave that shit on 24 hours and wake up to like 15-20 free packs. It was hysterical and they had to make a bunch of measures to prevent it, but the damage was done.

Also the game studio they used ruined other Bushiroad releases. Vanguard in general released Dear Days, a game with an outdated card pool of a fucking year with only the first 5 sets of a new, hated format, for $70 and also asked $70 more for its extremely slowly dripfed DLC. On steam, the game records hopefully double digit concurrent players

Bushiroad keeps hiring people and they're literally running away with Bushiroad's money. I like Bushiroad actually, but they're just not very good at their jobs and lucked into some decent IPs. There, I said it

Btw the only reason the EoS happened now was that they ran out of the 2nd format's card pool, which meant to implement the 3rd format, they would need to rehaul the game very extensively. Also, in Zero, because they're playing by a different set of rules that failed to actually simplify the game length-wise, instead gameplay dimension-wise, there is no way to neatly implement the gift system that the 3rd game is very heavily based on, with a very incompetent team to boot

Huh... that makes a lot of sense. Maybe Revue's demise might not be so imminent after all. I hope.

It shows as 7.84gb on my phone. So glad I decided to get a new phone with more storage.
