Best scenario is the Jets just miss the playoffs so Rodgers doesnt fake an injury or they dont sit him and the Packers get a first next year. Could be 2 top 15 picks next year

The conditions for next year's pick means it'll almost certainly be a late 1st, or it's going to be a 2nd. Best case scenario for the Packers (and most unlikely) is that it's in the mid-to-late teens if the Jets narrowly miss the playoffs after collapsing late in the season.

The Jets aren't going to keep starting Rodgers if things look bleak by the midpoint of next season.

I don't trust his attitude nor do I trust the Bears to have the personnel in place to cultivate him with said attitude.

i havent been paying much attention this off-season but didnt the Eagles basically do the equivalent of restructuring his deal in the initial deal itself? I remember reading the Eagles didnt leave themselves a lot of flexibility to get cap relief in the coming years of Hurts deal but not sure how accurate that is

Agree. So to move up 9 spots the Texans gave up the 33rd overall pick this year, basically a low first in a supposedly weak draft, their first next year (probably a top 10 pick, at least top 15) and then gave the cardinals a 3rd next year for the cardinals 4th this year.

Im not really liking that trade up for the Texans. Will Anderson needs to give them Aaron Donald type impact to make this trade worth it. I would be reasonably happy as a Cardinals fan, I think
