Don't be surprised or feel bad if you fail the main story, there's a lot to do and it's easily to get overwhelmed with tasks

Funny timing. I bought it when it first came out, but never went more than like an hour into it.

But literally just bought it again yesterday and am playing through now.

Yeah, I got it on release and was having a blast. Then I realized the main game and all sidequests are under an unstoppable time limit.

I take my time playing games and try to do as much as possible, so my interest plummeted immediately after that. At least Majora's Mask let's you turn back time.

I always thought it'd be cool if they released a remixed version as an addon or something.
Same gameplay, same mall, different story, weapon locations and scoops. Couldn't have been worse than the sequels at least.

Send me to the maintenance tunnel on day 1.
Put survivors in the maintenance tunnel.

You keep your level when you restart. The three days only last 6 hours of real time. It's designed to be constantly replayed even if there isn't a story reason behind it.
