It doesn't really make sense why she'd journey with him otherwise, especially since Misty's bike doesn't even get mentioned for an obscene length of time. That said, all the people voting for Pikachu are just plain wrong, seeing as there's never any romantic implications the way there is with, say, Baeleef, who frequently got jealous. Pikachu never got jealous when Ash trained another Pokemon, because that's what a bro would do. I forgot about Giselle but she was a one-off who hasn't been seen or mentioned in forever.
