I think for me, it was the white OJ Bronco. I still have a vivid memory of it.

9/11. we all turned on the tv for that. i was in 6th grade.

9/11 is the earliest thing I remember. I grew up in LA, but I don't have any memories of the LA riots in 1992.

9/11 definitely counts, but that's gonna be pretty much everyone's go to unless they're old enough to have been around for Challenger or the Berlin Wall.

I supposedly was in the room when that happened on TV. But I was really young and have no memory of it. You must be a little older than me. I feel bad for anyone who saw it in school. Wss probably traumatic

I dunno. I guess Obama on live television announcing Osama Bin Laden was killed. I was too young to remember 9/11 or the invasion of Iraq. And I didn't give a flying fuck about the news or politics during the 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns.

Y2K. As a kid I was terrified.

Berlin Wall falling. Used to have a piece of it, but I think it got lost in a move.

Edit: didn't read the thread before posting, didn't know so many of you were in my age range.

I thought this was like seeing in person. Like you were there. If this is just watching on TV then 9/11. The first one I was an adult and aware of had to have been either the Boston Bombing or the Christopher Dorner hunt.
