My libido has lowered to the point where I find sexy stuff presented in non-pornographic media to be mildly annoying and uncomfortable. So I dont mind the increase in puritan culture tbh.

just learned that the one furry site (don't think you can write it on GFacks) is currently going through a pedophilia debacle. The mods made a policy change about Pokemon and Digimon that they consider childlike. Riolu or Pichu for example will be banned from the site now if NSFW.

A big portion of the site is upset because I guess a lot of people draw basic stage pokemon and digimon. But also there's a debate about what is kink content, since the mods decided that 'transformation' and 'vore' are SFW on their own, so the Pokemon can still be drawn in those fetishes. Which is like, deranged if you ask me lol.

Hearing about it reminded me of this topic. That is a site where posting drawings of zoophilia (they call them "ferals" ) is a core function. But they still find room for their own moral panics.

This is the usual dumbshit that the Internet always does: a small handful of aggressively vocal people say wildly stupid shit and then people go "this is what (political party, fandom, any group of people) thinks!".

It's pretty much the equivalent of going somewhere fun and that random guy has his "God is watching you! You'll burn in Hell for your sins!" sign but instead of everyone ignoring him, everyone goes "wow, he might be right! I'm really scared to be judged! Better listen to what he says and stop doing what I'm doing!"

Thats really sad for you.

There were two books published last year that presented anti-sex screeds as "true feminism". The puritans are on both sides of the political spectrum and have taken control of media and political discourse. And it's only going to get worse. I'm expecting things to go back to how they were in the 50s within the decade.

Yeah, theres been some spicy takes from their Twitter account. Stuff like 13-y/o pregnancies are no longer okay, but vore is still fine. Not to mention how the sites creators own works violate their new rules, so he had to delete them hastily.
