Thud 05/26/23 3:12:34 PM #1:	Been bawling for about an hour. Don't even know what to say, this hurts so fucking bad. We worked together for about 6 months and she was one of the few there I truly respected, she was damn good at her job and we all loved her. We work with the mentally ill. She had the toughest hab home in our county, those boys were crude and disrespectful because nobody challenged them to do better. Within 2 weeks of her taking over that house, if one of them started to be crude or disrespectful she would say in a cheery but firm voice "What do we do in this house?" And they would respond "respect women!" and they loved it, loved that she cared enough to make them want to be better people and teach them how to do it. Her ex shot and killed her and her bf in their home today. I'm so angry and it just doesn't make any sense to me. Her bf who was killed too was a fucking teacher, he taught kids. These were good good people. Why can't pieces of shit just fucking move on I don't understand this at all. The only way this was preventable is if this country took DV seriously and put some actual fucking measures in place to protect victims besides a piece of paper saying stay away. I may have to talk to someone, I'm at the anger point now and I'm starting to imagine it happennning and its really stressing me out like i dont even know how to describe it. I've lost people before but not like this. Idk if I hope she fought like hell or never even saw it coming, the thought of her last moments being of pure terror is too much its just too horrible. He didn't kill the kids which is obviously good but Jesus fuck guys, those poor kids are not going to be the same.
