The crystal-clear implication here being that you believe that trans women being allowed in women's sports, or medical terminology being adjusted to accomodate the fact that they exist without misgendering them in a diagnosis, is a detriment to cis womens' rights and identities.

I said there are arguments to be had, not any of what you just said. That's you jumping to conclusions. Did I say it was a detriment? No. You think I said that, but I didn't.

I'm also not a trans woman or a cis woman, so it's not really my place to come up with how things 'should be.' I do believe that cis women should have a place in the debate, given that it's their identity too.

No, I'm trying to say that's a bad stance, like your "saying mean things to bad people is wrong because saying mean things to any human is bad". You don't truly empathize with victims. You just want to poo-poo them when they react wrongly and remind them how their behavior will do more harm than good, how shutting off the debate is wrong because there are "good points" within the statements the victims find disagreeable.

it's probably not about money this time, i think they're trying to keep their employees from getting killed by right wing nutjobs. employees were getting tons of threats over this stuff, it's awful but I don't think it's driven by greed *this time*
