Kanye may be legally liable here but he is morally justified in what he did.

The incident occurred on January 27, 2023, when Ye was outside of a sports academy in Ventura County where he was attending his daughters basketball game. His ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, was also at the game. According to the lawsuit, after Lechmanik took photos of Kardashian entering the sports academy, she noticed Ye outside of his vehicle angrily confronting another photographer on the street and started filming the alleged incident from her cell phone.
Given Defendant Yes reputation for violence against photographers, his history of physically harming them, and based on his threatening body language, Plaintiff became fearful for the photographers safety, the lawsuit states, adding that she remained in the drivers seat when she began filming. Her associate was sitting in the passengers seat next to her, and was also filming from his phone when Ye walked towards their car. She did not want to get out of her car because she was afraid of Defendant Ye, the suit says, stating that as Ye began walking towards her car, her nervousness increased. When he came near her car, the suit states, he was speaking aggressively and became enraged.

He reached into Plaintiffs car and ripped her phone out of her hands. As he did so, Plaintiff was fearful Defendant Ye had a weapon or would strike her, the suit says. Defendant Ye then threw her phone onto the street towards oncoming traffic and gave a death stare before walking away.

So basically she saw that he was about to get violent with another photographer and wanted to record just in case he did attack the guy and evidence would be needed, she wasn't even taking any pictures of him herself prior to this event. So she wasn't personally harassing him, but he still decided to act violently towards her.

Also. Rap is crap.

I mean he shouldn't have done that

But man it's hard to feel bad for Papparazzi who stalk and harras celebrities 24/7 then pretend to be victims when one responds to their provocations

So she's not a paparazzi then. Just a normal person who pulled out their phone to record an incident. Yeah I can't see Kanye in the right at all then for what he did.

I mean, professionally she's still a paparazzi, but she wasn't recording him as part of her job. Just as a safety measure in case violence broke out.
