Wonder looks fantastic. Solid direct overall.

NSMBU has some of the best level design theyve ever done, the issue was a lot of the trappings around it had gotten a bit stale. This more than solves that problem.

Also wow they basically doubled the amount of games announced for November with this direct alone!

Not too bad, but still disappointed at some stuff not being there. Guess next year is possibly the earliest TP/WW Switch ports will happen now if ever? Rumored DK game nowhere and FE remake rumored game nowhere in here either. Excited for SMRPG though.

anyway am just trying to figure out how much of the jp direct wasn't in the rest, i remember an uma musume spinoff and a cool fate spinoff but there was definitely a lot of other stuff in the highlight reels on that...

Star Ocean 2 remake is nice, everything else is meh.

I'm thrilled we're actually getting a new DQM so soon. Either that or Super Mario RPG will likely get my second voucher (depending on what Nintendo is publishing).

I'm really not sure how I feel about Star Ocean 2's new look. My first reaction wasn't great, but maybe I'll come around on it.

I wanted to see more of Fantasy Life i. :(

But for 6.5 year old console, this was a pretty good direct.

I guess this Direct was okay. I mean the Switch has pretty much entered its lame duck era, so until Switch 2 gets announced next year we're not getting announcements for new 3D Mario, Zelda, Smash, Prime 4, etc.

Super Mario RPG remake and a new Dragon Quest Monsters game?! Everything else could have been dogshit and Id have still been happy. But there was a surprising amount of games that interested me in there. A+ direct.

Yeah Wonder looks like it's improved everything about NSMB except the art style, which is a real shame. Despite all the weird shit there's somehow this kind of samey-ness to everything that annoys me.

Just watched it and and hyped for SMRPG (Geno will definitely get in whatever the next iteration of Smash is, surely!)

When that showed up I got my hopes up for Chrono Trigger but I guess that's too good to be true...

Honestly I'm mad I didn't get a concrete date for the Wave 5 DLC release, like I already knew it'd be coming out this summer but I expected a concrete date, damn it! Wave 2 came out August 4th so I'll just assume somewhere around that time this year too, I guess...

Wonder looks good but I'm not sure the trappings are different enough to overcome this problem. They definitely aren't for me personally.

Super Mario Bros Wonder looks great. Not sure what you guys would expect from a 2D Mario. It doesn't matter the style looks like NSMB. Besides, those games were fine anyway.

Almost everything else was for 2023, surprisingly enough. Only a couple first party things without release windows.

IDK how people are looking at Mario Wonder and thinking it looks like NSMB. The sound design seems a little similar but this looks completely different.

I suggest people look up some videos of NSMB and compare it to the Wonder trailer and you'll remember how bland NSMB was.
