Xy was designed to be easier and more in the players favour than that), Golden Sun series(the final boss of 1 and 2 involves a strategy of buffing yourself and healing. This is viewed as a GIGANTIC difficulty spike next to every other boss and enemy in the game) --- Rip Politics board. Some give you multiple save states, others give you the option to change the difficulty at any time, some have DLC's sooooooooo OP'ed it destroys the games difficulty no matter how easy/hard the game is, there are even some games that are very fortunate with their drops/looting mechanics to the point where you'll find something that will carry you for the majority of the game. And then you have compile heart games, where they usually have a waifu system (Moero Chronicles, Mary Skelter)...
