Its arguable since Mike Z and Alex Ahad are the two main creators of Skullgirls, but now theyre not involved anymore, Ahad quitting because of Mike and Mike getting Green Goblind. But I think the current owners of Skullgirls are people that did work on it so idk.

They patched the digital art book to remove content of all things. This is why physical is king.

As I say every time something like this has happened, if it's not a big deal, why did they change it? Why put all that time and effort into making these changes that the majority of the player base either doesn't want or doesn't care about?

Its not called "Being scared" it's called "growing as a person" looking at stuff with your name on it and going "Yeaaah.... that kind of sucks. Let's change that."

...dev should have given her shorts/pants or made the skirt longer or done something like that to cover the underwear without losing the "flare up" of the skirt (if they choose to keep the skirt instead of replacing it with pants).

Sort of loses the "action / motion" of the picture with the skirt flat down.

Seems fine to me. I'm not 12 anymore. That kind of overt fanservice always struck me as odd and caused me to lose interest in it.

They heavily altered Big Band's story, and that's one of the more frequent complaints I've seen about this update.

I will say most of these changes are silly because this is a horny game overall and theres just no escaping that. You can change an artwork of Cerebella showing most of her panties to some of her panties but....she's still showing her panties. What is ultimately being accomplished here?

I will complain about Solid Snakes ass being nerfed in Smash until the end of time.

it's honestly a necessity if the developers want to keep a job in the gaming industry. Fanservice is becoming less popular with each new generation of gaming. Showing willingness to change to adapt to the current political climate is a lot more respectful than refusing to alter old artwork to maintain the original vision.

Since no one's going to answer my question post number 25, here's another one. Why does this stuff need to be erased? Because it contains things that are objectionable IRL? It's a work of fiction, not reality. If we're not allowed to have fictional depictions of things that are wrong, then this entire game should just be erased. It's a fighting game. Fighting is bad. Guns are bad. Misuse of medical equipment is bad. Why do we glorify all this violence but draw the line at panties?
