Mostly in the Tenkaichi series. Looking for a main campaign with nice what-if scenarios, like with whats found in DBZ Supersonic Warriors

Tenkaichi 2 basically ripped the story mode from Budokai 3, with 3 "what if scenarios" you unlock for winning what should basically be unwinnable fights on future playthroughs. One in the Saiyan saga, one on namek, and one for Buu.

Tenkaichi 3 has a "scenario select" story that takes you through everything. It's more comprehensive, but less immersive/interesting. It's "What If" saga is more just one-off scenarios than branching stories, but they are imo more interesting than the ones in 2. Plus you get OG Dragonball content.

Being totally honest, nothing in any game comes close to matching the what ifs from Supersonic Warriors. Closest you'll get is probably Xenoverse, but that's entirely different.
