I wouldn't say I bought it just for one song, but in the early days of buying cassettes and CDs I would buy albums that I only knew one song from. I usually ended up liking the album as a whole though. I was big into compilation albums when I was first getting into punk music. Nah. Was going to when I got a $100 voucher to a music store for my birthday once, but my mom convinced me to just get the single so I could buy more stuff overall. Probably would have liked the rest of the album too, but it would've been a gamble. But I was usually very disappointed. I'm very picky on what I love. So maybe 1 other song I'd deem "OK".
