Overview: Blade Mafia games are meant to push the limits of Mafia but still maintain a semblance of balance. There are roles that have appeared in Blade Mafia games that have, as far as I know, never appeared anywhere else on this site. It's the ultimate meta at own risk game: Some have had renamed roles, and some have had roles you think you recognize - But you don't. The balance is rough and may tilt somewhat to one side when all is said and done. Again, meta it at your own risk. Flavors are set to their roles and there is no connecting thread between them. There are no safelists, and anti-town players may (within reason - asking for a ton of flavors or asking if a flavor someone else has already claimed is in the game is crossing the line) inquire as if to specific flavors they wish to claim are in the game. As such, nonsense that already ruins games like a day 1 massclaim completely ruins the Blade Mafia setup, so it's strongly encouraged not to do that. I still remember being policy lynched as Town Jack in a game town later rightfully lost for refusing a day 1 massclaim. Most important town loss in B8 history tbqh. Note I am significantly busier than I was during the previous 4 Blade Mafias (They were all like 7+ years ago!). You can direct any question you need to Crescent if I am not available. The game is set up to have 18 players. This isn't quite the original version I had, but I think it's better off anyway. If I get a few more than 18, I may try to expand it. Blade Mafia 4 had like 31 players it was nuts let's not go that high. So it's like looking at a 3D object through a 2D window (like, you can see different angles of whatever is recorded on the holographic film). My particular focus is on digital holograms, though I've basically only done simulation work, as my research is purely theoretical. I've had the opportunity to make some holograms, but not the same kind that I'm doing research on.
