Oh hey an event today with a free weapon. I needed something to blow more of the top tier weapon exp on because they give out way too much of it

There was a point a month or two ago where I destroyed like 3000 crystals because I was on cap and had already leveled as much pointless junk as I could.

I just got through the final act of Fontaine and wow. Really great stuff.

Also did Furinas character quest and man probably my favorite Archon now. Fantastic job by Hoyoverse. Sumeru and Fontaine were both really great!

4.4 banners allegedly include reruns for Xiao, Nahida and Yae with Nahida/Yae allegedly being part 2. Guess well see, but makes me wonder when Clorinde and Sigewinne are coming out too.

Chiori's design is pretty good and she seems cool from what I've done of the event so far. Geo redemption arc incoming?

I really hope Chiori teams up well with Navia. Cus right now my only geo resonance options for Navia are Ningguang and Traveler.

Merry Christmas to me. Got the Asstrologist C2, Navia C0, random Kuki C5 and a single Candace to put her at C2. Shes gonna take ages to get anywhere C wise especially if shes with characters Ive got at C6 already. Got a Rosaria almost every 10 pull

What's the good word on Navia at this point? Haven't heard much past the initial rash of guides on her release.

Asking because she wasn't part of The Plan, but my understanding is that she's good as a split-time carry, which I'm gonna bet good money Mihoyo is going to start pushing as the next thing to break up the 1 on-fielder + 3 supports (or 4 supports quickswap) meta.

Navia is pretty strong. Better than Itto at c0. Very flexible teammates, very flexible rotation. If you got Serpent Spine, use that. If not, the new event weapon or even the Fontaine craftable. Artifact set she is fine with 2pc 2pc, whether it is Gladiator, Shimenawa, Petra, or Golden Troupe. Obviously her BiS is the new domain.

Something like Navia/Bennett/Geo/Sub dps is optimal. Sub dps can be the likes of Xiangling/Xingqiu/Yelan/Fischl/Rosaria/Furina and many more. Geo resonance isn't even needed so you can swap the second geo unit for another sub dps.

I personally got 36 stars by using her on first half with Furina/Yelan/Jean. And in another run, using her on second half with Bennett/Xiangling/Fischl.

My monthly standard banner fates got me C4 Amber and C1 Kirara. Nice surprise.

An Amber con and a low constellation of another character is quite nice.

Free fate on Standard banner just got me Wolfs Gravestone. I dunno if this thing is still considered a good weapon or not. Better for Eula than the F2P Snow-Tombed Starsilver at least though? Eula is my primary Claymore user with the only other one Ive been using being Noelle who is probably better off with Whiteblind still.

It should be. Dehya and maybe now Navia's weapon are better stat sticks, but gravestone is still gonna be stronger than every non battle pass 4 star. There's still not a ton of great options for claymores that aren't hyper specific.

Except for Noelle, as a Def scaler I'm sure she's like Itto where Whiteblind is better than everything that's not Serpent Spine or his signature (also her bis).

Ill give it to my Eula then. Still need to adjust her artifacts some one day. 4*s for the Raiden/Yoimiya rerun are officially Bennett, Sara and Chevreuse

Always Sara, though I'm not complaining. They really doubled down with the overload thing.

Sara will never not be on a Raiden rerun banner patch unfortunately. Just like how Yaoyao will only return on Alhaitham reruns and Faruzan on Wanderer reruns.

I dont have Raiden still, but also dont want her so sucks for me as a Sara fan. Saras character design is great, but her gameplay not so much sadly :(

Why would Yaoyao be on an Alhaitham banner specifically? She doesn't enable his gameplay the way Gorou does for Itto.

I dunno, but I dont think Yaoyao has ever been on a banner that didnt involve Alhaitham yet. Maybe its just speculation for now, but Sara absolutely has only ever been featured whenever Raiden is and same for Faruzan and Wanderer

Sara is absolutely tied to Raiden, and I can accept that they would do the same for Faruzan (or put her on a Xiao banner,) but to do that to Yaoyao is weird. Not that it matters much because you can get her for free during Lantern Rite.

Yeah, guess we can only wait and see if Yaoyao pops up again. Debating if Ill grab a C or her or get the inevitable new 4* character

Yeah it's rough, I'd like C6 Sara (and Chevreuse) but I really don't need Raiden cons. Raiden was my first limited 5* but I almost never use her anymore. I vastly prefer International over Rational now that I have Kazuha and as for hypercarry...well, I don't have C6 Sara! Real catch 22, I'd like to unbench her but I'm not willing to invest more into her banner to do it.

Really wish they'd add the Inazuma 4*s to the starglitter store but I'm not holding my breath since they haven't done it already

Yeah, the store needs an update badly. Even if they just included characters after the first year up to Inazuma or something it would be an improvement. The only pro it really has now is if you want to C6 the starter trio of Amber/Lisa/Kaeya

There's no reason -- and maybe this is weird to suggest this, but -- that they couldn't just put a third character in the shop. Since it operates on a six-month rotation, you just add Gorou, Sara, Kuki, Sayu, Heizou, and one other. (Kirara, maybe, but she's newer, and there's probably a legacy character that could stand to be included.)

Same. More for Chevreuse since I've conceded that Sara is not good. I leveled her day 1 alongside Raiden, and then just could not find any meaningful way to use her. And thus, I never have. A clunky 4 second ATK buff is just not worth the trouble. So she's electro Ningguang -- a character who is supposed to do other things, but is just a mediocre quick swap burst option.

Yeah, Ive suggested they update it before in a survey, but who knows when that QoL change will happen. Its a good way to get people to spend their shop currency and most dont whale for 4*s anyways I think. The most used ones all the whales have had at C6 for ages anyways like Bennett, Xiangling and Xingqiu

I got 5*s on Floor 12. Might be the highest stars Ive gotten? That damn hydro boss is sooo tanky with the team I used since Im still working on building Navia and some others. Felt good though and floor 11 was an easy 9* using Furina and Noelle (who still doesnt have a single M.Hunter artifact)

Raiden/Yoimiya reruns featuring Chevreuse should be out now I think.

Got Raiden and c2 chevreuse with 50 wishes. Not a single Sara tho.

Might try a few singles for Chevreuse, but not really a priority. Sara Cs are all Id want otherwise since Bennett is maxed, I have Yoimiya and dont care to ever have Raiden

Disclaimer: I do not look at leaks other than immediately-releasing characters for their viability, so you might be more in the know than me.

Oh I absolutely want Arlecchino and maybe Sigewinne, Clorinde and Chiori too, but I dunno when to expect them. Could be months still for some.

I would presume we'll see one per patch. Out of the two I mentioned at least. Sigewinne and Chiori are probably 4-stars.

I genuinely feel like the remaining characters we saw will all be 5* ones. Clorinde absolutely. Sigewinne feels guaranteed to me as the only Melusine you can summon for. Chiori seems too cool to be a mere 4* especially with her connections and Arlecchino would obviously be one because I doubt the possibility of a 4* Harbinger even exists

oh i didnt know there was a genshin topic series here. i started playing around 4.1 without realizing how big the game is now lol. i only just recently caught up with the archon quest.

i feel i got pretty lucky with my pulls so far since i got furina by accident in 30 wishes when i was just trying to get the 4 stars. then i did really try for navia and got her in only like 60-70 wishes. just now i got chevreuse in the first 10 wishes so probably done with these banners since im interested in cloud retainer more than inazuma characters. oh i also have a c1 mona who is pretty cool.

Furina is one hell of a first 5 star to get

i mean technically qiqi is my first 5 star (she kinda carried me thru the early game tbh)
