Which is why I await actual substantiated proof there's anything to this hearing beyond, "just believe."

Not topics, articles and sources that amount to same noise as other unsubstantiated conspiracy theories that demand the public just believe because grifters know how to keep peoples attention or someones favorite mouthpiece believes.
There's nothing wrong with posting topics of actual current events happening within Congress though. Topics like a hearing megathread or news of some new development. A mouthpiece article can be considered useless, sure. It's like the "What Trump's indictment means for 2024" articles. I'm talking ACTUAL events.

I find it bizarre that people think Grusch is lying. We already saw what happened to Snowden if you don't pursue a legal pathway to disclosing top secret information. Taking this to congress makes perfect sense to me.

It's possible that Grusch was purposely fed misinformation, but at this point I could see it going either way

Do you really think the government could hide real space UFOs when they cant even hide their own scandals?

The most this could ever be, giving it the slightest benefit of the doubt, is some tech from another country crashing into US territory and they held onto it.

"We should just believe Grusch or the Senate" is absolutely no reason anyone should just believe he isn't lying about his extraordinary claim.

For the life of me why you keep toting around Grusch or the Senate or any specific individual in the Senate you like as if it should make someone believe an extraordinary claim, then being confused why someone would dare not to just believe, is beyond me. Its mind boggling how some folks are totally missing the forest for the trees about all this. The hearing was not about proving aliens exist. There are private military contractors who are obstructing congress from oversight, siphoning tax payer dollars, as well as military officials refusing to turn over data to the appropriate authorities and a host of other alleged wrong doings, including threats and murder accusations. The intelligence community Inspector General has found these claims credible and is investigating, as well as the Senate taking it seriously as well. Its a bipartisan effort. This has absolutely nothing to do with UFO grifters like Steven Greer or Mick West, et al.

Theres also been issues of pilot safety, with active duty top gun fighters who have had near collisions with UAP. They had legitimate anger there with respect to sweeping this stuff under the rug or potential career damage because theres so much negative stigma surrounding anything to do with UAP and complete lack of any infrastructure to address such problems. This has been years in the making to get slow progress on these fronts.

I don't have a ton of input here but I think it is worth noting that the government gaslit & lied to the public about "Havana Syndrome" for like 3 years even though it isn't real and no evidence of it exists beyond the testimonies of people who effectively describe gangstalking or other mental illnesses

I could believe the claimant is lying for sure

Not reading this topic because I know CE is violently anti-alien.

This article was the general consensus among a lot of people smarter than me I've heard talking about it this year. Our skunkworks programs have gotten so out of hand that trillions of dollars are being funneled into all manners of experimental weapon/vehicle platforms that Congress and the general public know nothing about. Let's pretend in the 80s, the drone tech / su-71 were like $5b. I'm not looking up numbers, I know they exist. Simply for metaphor, the ballpark is that we've entered the hundreds of trillions range by this point in 2023.

A: It is actually reverse engineering alien tech, always has been, and that is why the secretive nature exists.

B: It is not alien tech whatsoever, and an unfathomable decades long disinformation campaign started to make people who sniff around think it is. No, China, we don't have reaper drones. But they might be Martians. Then when people start whistleblowing, they know what department got leaked etc and respond in kind to closing holes.

What a horrifyingly fascinating crossroads.

I don't think this is aliens, but people gotta stop using the poor argument against them coming here by saying they need FTL to get here.

FTL is not required to move mass distances. There are several possibilities, including via time dilation. Even we, dumbass humans, have been looking into these things, so we can't say a single thing about how aliens would be able to figure it and wield it.

But we dont know if we are dealing with extraterrestrials, something thats inter-dimensional, or something subterranean. There is strong evidence for all three, but we will hopefully know in time.

And they lose fidelity fast considering how vast space is. The entire world has provided no evidence for aliens yet conspiracy lunatics with apparently no knowledge of the existence of civilization outside American borders think somehow the US government is solely privy to such knowledge. Do you know how many people would love their names in the books for discovering aliens? The idea that the only people with actual evidence happen to be people who keep it a secret is nuts. If somebody sees something in the sky that they can't identify it's probably because we've been capable of putting things in the sky for over a century and not everybody alerts everybody else when they plan to do home experiments/spy/whatever.
