The first two Kenobi episodes were released at 12 EST instead of the usual 3 AM EST.

However, 9 PM EST is the new time for all Ahsoka episodes going forward. They're trying something new.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

When it comes out in the middle of the night, most people can't realistically watch it till likely after work or school later in the day.

This is more like the old days where everybody can catch it in the evening and have discussions all night.

god, the Rebels references

I love it

My favorite part was Hera and Sabine just getting a chance to catch up. Everything is so stilted when Ahsoka is in the room (which makes sense) so it's nice to see them just talk.

Geeking out ok this one a lot, i'm in the minority that liked Rebels over Clone Wars, so this is amazing so far.

You probably have to watch this regardless. This is building towards an MCU-level event.

Clone Wars, Rebels, Mandalorian, and Book is a huge ask.

I remember in the last season of Mandalorian, when Grogu saw the Purrgil during hyperspace travel. Reminded me of the finale for Rebels, and likely how Ezra took Thrawn out of the galaxy.

Couldn't get through like 3 episodes of that Rebels show tbh so I'm pretty bummed that it seems like this show is basically a huge reference fest to that.

Andor gonna be the last good Star Wars thing for a long time.

Each season of rebels gets better than the previous. The first season is definitely more of a children's show but it does well to introduce you to each of the characters.

It's one of the few shows that every character is likeable for me.

Solid first two episodes. Fun to have a live action Star Wars show that actually feels like Star Wars again.

Jesus does that highway on Lothal ever get used by anyone? In all of Rebels and now in Ahsoka I think I've seen like three vehicles not used by the protagonists or Empire use it.

The two chicks sword fighting was hot.

Plus one of Ray Stevenson's final roles, so it was decent overall.

I really liked the first two. I am a big Rebels fan (binged with my kids during COVID), so I am really excited to see the story continue.

I disagree and thought most of the series storys and characters was mediocre and forgettable outside of the the prequel material.

Hell this series only saving grace is Ashoka and Thawrn. Former didn't need the rebel baggage at all, and latter barely did anything in rebels and whose frame and reputation is due mostly to older books that may or may not be canon anymore.

Does she have ears? The headband looks like it has headphones. Has it shown her with out the headband in the cartoon?

She has ear cones like all female Twi'leks.

Disney had nothing to do with Qui-Gons death though.

Maybe a skill issue on Qui Gons part.

The first two episodes were pretty good. Some pretty good characters. Not sure about all that Clone Wars and Rebels baggage though.

No, he didn't. They weren't stabbed in the same place at all.

Solid first two episodes, but if I'm being honest, I'm kinda over this version of ahsoka.

Yeah, it makes sense she'd mature over the years, but literally all the fire and feistiness in her personality is gone. She's just straight up ice queen now, and if Book was anything to go by, is just chugging along unquestioning regurgitating the same tired jedi dogma she and anakin used to rail against.

Even Rebels gave her more emotion and spirit than this. This just feels like some generic old guard jedi doing an ahsoka cosplay.

On an unrelated note, WTF at the opening scene. "Oh, this Republic ship transporting a super-high-profile Imperial prisoner is being hailed by an unknown ship with long-dead jedi codes. I'm calling their bluff! Invite them on board so we can start a fight!"

The only way to defend it, is that qui gon jin got his spine severed, sabine was just to the side.

So the third baddie with the inquisitor lightsaber is somebody under the helmet right? I would guess Ezra except for the logistics of it would make no sense.

The 2 evil jedi are the highlight. Baylan has great screen presence, looks and sounds cool. The girl looks unhinged even in how she moves. They are the highlight

One thing disney star wars has sucked at is light saber battles. This has the best so far but still below the prequels.
