What kind of insurance?

I have car insurance that I pay for myself. I have health insurance from the government since I can't afford my own. I have $1000 of free life insurance from my financial institution. I also have renters insurance that's only like $6 a month. That's four kinds right there.

Yes, many kinds.

I fully pay for home, car, life, and liability insurance.

Work helps pay for health, dental, vision, and disability. But I'm still paying quite a bit for the health insurance.

Duh, you're right. I'm thinking of health but I'm also interested in hearing what people's got in general.

Medical through healthcare.gov, though my income is low enough that I pay less than $30 a month for it. And of course car insurance because it's the law.

I live in California and legit wasn't aware that health insurance was no longer mandatory federally - you get penalized for not having it here still. I've got health/dental/vision, car and homeowners insurance. The first three are through work and the latter two are bundled.

Just had a health scare (didn't end up being anything bad) that would have probably drained all of my bank accounts and then some just in urgent care/specialist visits alone but ended up costing me just like $40 total so uh, yeah, I'm definitely of the opinion that it's an extremely good thing to have even if (or perhaps because) our system is pretty fucked overall compared to other countries.

Health, vision, dental, life (term), and disability through work.
Life (whole, paid separate), home, and auto paid privately.

I think that's all of them?

Modern life would not be possible without insurance and my hot take is that insurance is among the most important inventions in history. But it is a real bitch to work with when it comes to health, because non-doctors should not be in charge of approving or denying care.
