Hope it keeps up becsuse I enjoyed the first two episodes, especially Baylan.

They couldn't throw in a Kanan reference with the blind sparring scene? :(

Another okay episode. Nice to see Jacen.

And Mon Mothma.

And wow to a Resistance reference by bringing back Kazuda's dad.

I think it's the best of the 3 so far.

I'm in love with Shin and that intense stare

Not sure why Ahsoka's ship doesn't have forward guns.

That space battle/chase was great, felt like the most Star Wars-y thing I have seen since the prequels, just a fun chase w/ danger and a great musical score. Filoni is at least good at capturing the same Star Wars atmosphere as the old movies, this actually feels like the same universe (I never watched Clone Wars or Rebels)

Hopefully the plot is good, nothing really happened this episode story-wise

I was loling hard when the dude flew close enough to the ship to get slashed by the saber, so dumb. But the whole scene was a bit light hearted, so it wasnt too jarring for me.

Leia Poppins was way worse because it was supposed to be a serious moment like Leia is dead, and it just looked so uncanny valley goofy

Hey finally getting the whales in live action after all the teasing. Big fangasm moment. Damn they made them huge.

I mean if character stuff in long form TV doesn't interest you perhaps watching a compilation of the Old Republic cgi trailers might be more your speed

Yeah, the issue is that it's both not fun and not good. Something fun like RotS is still good even if it's goofy, something serious and character driven like Andor is good even without lightsabers and the force.
Stuff like Mando and Ashoka are just boring

Like I do get the point you're making in that "it's so bad I can enjoy it by making fun of it", but the problem is you seem to have difficulty actually calling RotS "bad".

I think huyang may be the best droid in star wars.

Yknow with the upcoming "Mandoverse Defenders" collab movie I'm really REALLY hoping that Filoni didn't at the last minute take all the actually interesting stuff out of Ahsoka to save for that.

You're okay Doom. I don't hate it either. My criticism is just the same one I had last week: for a show named "Ahsoka", very little attention is paid so far to her character.

Like if you called the show "Rebels 2: The Search for Ezra", then I feel like I'd be less critical, lol.

With the low ratings on Mando season 3 and Ahsoka, I dont think this movie will be happening. Lucasfilm hasnt been able to get a Star Wars movie out of pre-production since 2018. The only way to get success would be to do an Heir to the Empire style movie around Han/Luke/Leia, have Mando and the Rebels characters as support.

But even then, 50% or more of the fan base probably wont return because it all leads to Kylo killing Jedi academy and the First Order wiping out the New Republic in 1 shot. Whats the point?

This show has been boring so far... can't name anything good about it besides Huyang

I'm liking the show so far. Feels like a nice little side story.

This is more like the Ahsoka and Sabine show though.

I also think Ahsoka herself is pretty good. She's basically Luke from RotJ. Remember how much he changed between ESB and RotJ? Especially since she has obviously had interactions with Luke himself at this point.

That lightsaber thing with Ahsoka in space was ridiculous af tbh, but idk, ultimately it felt fine.

Also I love Huyang. This guy is 25k years old. What the actual fuck. Never knew that. Also literally the 10th Doctor, David Tennant.

Same here. The music was definitely channeling John Williams.

Though I'm sad Ludwig Gransson is barely involved with this. Loved his music from Mandalorian and Book of Boba.

I wish Huyang would talk more about the High Republic days. Just like as an anecdote or something. Give people some sizzle for wanting to learn more about that time now that there are a bunch of books and comics about it (and another show coming up in Acolyte).
