Elon shuts down the 8.8.8.8 server because it's useless and costing money, and millions of servers go down because their configuration is assuming that this is the only reliable DNS server in the whole world.

He'd turn it to shit, obviously, but unlike twitter, there are plenty of long established practical alternatives for search engines, email, video uploads, and even maps.
