Calwings 09/08/23 6:35:25 PM #1:	On the exact 25-year anniversary of the US premiere of the very first episode of the Pokemon anime, today Netflix batch-uploaded the final arc of that anime, titled Pokmon: To Be a Pokmon Master. These 12 episodes finally bring an end to Ash's long Pokemon journey. As excited as I am to see a new era of the Pokemon anime start with a new protagonist in Pokemon Horizons, it's still kind of bittersweet to see Ash finally retire. I grew up watching this anime, from the original Indigo League series up until I lost interest in it somewhere in the Hoenn series. Then I stopped following the anime but would still watch the movies when they came around, and then I started watching the anime again much later on with Journeys.
