I wanted to order 2 McChickens and a Mcdouble and it came out to $32 (including $5 tip). Absolutely outrageous stuff.

Mickey Ds app has free delivery bonuses. Every price is raised like a MFer to compensate. Im talking 11 dollar Big Macs and 15 dollar minimum for any combo. Still a rip off but wouldve been cheaper then your 32 bucks by a good bit.

I don't have to because I refuse to use them or any other 3rd party delivery service (I have never used 1st party delivery either for that matter).

I've paid $25 for a $12 large sub a couple times when I was drunk and couldn't drive

mcdonalds is usually pretty cheap delivery. like $4 last time i had to pay for it.

last 2 years i just been paying for dashpass. they just charged me and it's $96 a year now. but you get free delivery unless the restaurant doesn't honor it(pretty much all do and if one doesn't then skip it). also cuts down on your service fees. it says i've saved $750 over 2 years so that's still $550 saved after taking out the cost of dashpass. basically if you order something once a month the savings are gonna end up being like the $8 it costs for it.

helps a lot with being in school and i'm busy doing homework and don't wanna take 30-60 minutes to go pick up something. or good on drunk nights with friends.

Such a dumb perspective to have. Many wealthy people are frugal or refuse to overspend relative to the purchase. You know damn well $32 is ridiculous for 3 McDonalds sandwiches yet here you are attempting go poor shame. Shit human behavior.

I only ordered from Doordash a couple times. It was definitely the most overpriced off the delivery apps. Grubhub and UberEats fees are more reasonable.

Some rich people are frugal. Their families often arent.

Haven't tried doordash but Uber eats is super expensive too. I keep getting emails for 40-50% off and even with the discount food ends up being MSRP once you factor in fees, taxes + tip. Fuck that.

I got 14.70 before a tip on those. What prices are you dealing with? A Mcchicken is 4.78, and a Mcdouble is 3.19.

I have never used these insane scam apps and never will. Why in god's name would I pay 2-3x the price to have it arrive cold and potentially partially eaten by the delivery guy?
