AGA starts out solid, but I find it really repetitive. Basically the same thing throughout the whole song. Jakob goes at least as hard, and has a bit more variety through its runtime.

I feel like I've heard better Gravity Man remixes than this one. Doesn't really go anywhere. Absolutely love the first bits of Gravity Beetle. Gets me super hyped whenever I play the level.

I'm a bit surprised that I'm voting for a Smash Bros. remix as I rarely.like them, but the space-y sci-fi feel of Gravity Man is more interesting than Beetle.

Jakob is my favorite stage in the entire X franchise, and I feel like the music plays a pretty big part of that, since I can't quite put my finger on why I like it so much.

The remix for Gravity Man is amazing!

Abnormal Gravity is, well, abnormally great! The time signature is enjoyable and everything in general sounds really peculiar and good. Very nice! Jakob is pretty rocking, I'm betting it's a character theme alright. It's very solid... hmm... tough choice. Abnormal Gravity it is.

If I'm honest, I'm not sure if this Gravity Man remix captures well the feel of the original, a little too upbeat for my taste, but regardless, it bangs! I think I enjoy it just enough. Gravity Beetle is great! It would make me think of a bull Maverick for some reason, haha. But yeah, it's just your common SNES X goodness. Choosing it, but must say it is a close match.

I liked all songs about the same, so Round 2 is also gonna sting.

I considered not voting today because one of my ears is clogged, but I know all the songs well enough to still make an informed vote.

Abnormal Gravity Area is nice. Contrary to others' comments I like the repetitiveness; I think it adds to the charm. Jakob is a classic for me though. I don't care about a lot of the post-X3 X soundtracks but then there will randomly be a song like this that I love.

I also wish Gravity Man was the original NES version. I don't love the Smash arrangement very much, I think mostly because of the instrumentation. The part around 1:20 is particularly messy for me. X3's sound is definitely more aggressive and abrasive than 1 and 2 and that doesn't always work, but I really like Gravity Beetle's sense of desperate heroism. Did you know Kinuyo Yamashita composed the original Vampire Killer from Castlevania?

No real standouts today. Jakob isn't a bad song, but it's brought down by the super muddy mixing.

God damn Abnormal Gravity Area is just so funky! Huge proponent of this OST, as I am of MMBN music in general, and this one is definitely a fun blast.

Jakob is fun too. MM series is good at "fun". Pretty catchy melody all things considered. I like this better than I did in the noms phase.

The parts of this Gravity Man remix that sounds spacey are my favourite. It's very rousing. But I agree with Isquen, the NES version is king.

I know I've really gotten into different versions of Gravity Beetle, so it's a bit of a shame that this one doesn't do it for me as much as others. I think the PSX arrange is one of them. I do obviously like the melody though.

Amazing day. Agggghhhh.... Match two is a tough decision. Gravity Man is far more representative of the kind of music I like. Love all the chord changes, love the part with the half-step/octave movements. Gravity Beetle's short term excitement for me is hard to find... most other comparable music I don't like nearly as much. I love its tremendous energy... granted, that wouldn't mean much on its own, except the way those changing harmonies get highlighted through the melody's chromatic movement is super impactful for me. I'm happy with either winner, of course.

Network Transmission is an underrated game with a very underappreciated soundtrack. Match 2 is just a couple of songs I think are perfectly fine, and since it's close I don't feel right going one way or another on it. Would've voted Jakob over either of those.

Jakob is certainly cool-sounding, Abnormal Gravity sounds neat but doesn't sound fun enough to me.

I'm definitely onboard the team of "NES Gravity Man should've gotten in" (it was going to be the only nom I would've put into bracket!), but I'm more than happy with the Smash remix getting in. Gravity Beetle sounds action-packed and raring to go, this is definitely what I like to hear in a platforming series like this.
