TonyKojima 09/21/23 7:42:23 AM #1:	I made this topic a few months back but here it is again so AMA especially if you need implants. I have whats called implant supported overdentures on top and bottom. They are removable but lock into the implants similar to a button snap. Basically snap in teeth. The process was a total of 9 months about. It was multiple appointments for temporary denture fittings which. Then the oral surgery which was sept 2021 i got my final teeth in May of 2022. Between september-february it was just recovery. Then once healing caps were placed i could not wear the temp dentures until the final teeth were made. PraetorXyn 09/21/23 1:16:09 PM #16:	I have an overbite, and we went to an orthodontist when I was 17 and she was afraid if she fixed my teeth, my jaw would grow into it and Id end up with an underbite, so she suggested coming back in a few years. We just never ended up going back. Then, when I was 33, a filling fell out out the back of my upper front teeth. I went in to get it fixed, and it turned out that because of the overbite and my grinding my teeth in my sleep, my bottom front teeth had destroyed all the enamel on the back of the upper front teeth, and they were just fucked. So I had to get 6 crowns at once. creativeme 09/21/23 1:30:44 PM #20:	how caring for them? just like put them in that denture cleaning stuff? or do you brush like normal? mixture of the 2? i had 2 teeth that never grew in. 1 of the bottom premolars on both sides. same spot on both sides. never really bothered me and i'm mid 30s and no dentist has ever mentioned implants before till the 1 i just changed to this year. looking into the cost through my insurance and they only cover half the cost but each is like $2500(plus i'm sure a bit more for anesthesia and whatever). so probably would cost like $3k to get both. so i'm just not going to. like i said they never bothered me eating or anything like that. they're far enough back it's not noticeable unless someone is looking into my mouth. --- This is a sig <cite>creativeme posted [p:976217710] in I have ful... I do put them in efferdent sometimes, and I also brush and waterpick the implants themselves.
